Great Australian Bites - Rockhampton

For the first time, Rockhampton joined the Great Australian Bites experience, making the most of the summer atmosphere on Friday 26 January at Riverside.

Locals enjoyed a fantastic line-up of home-grown musical talent, family entertainment and quality Queensland produce as they browsed market stalls showcasing local handmade products. Tug-of-war, Australian trivia, thong-throwing, sausage roll eating competitions and the bucking bull championships also featured on the day.

Fresh Az Foods, Shell’s Art CQ, Tall Poppy Catering, BBQ Infusion Smoke and Spice, F n J Food 2Go, Scoops Snakbox and Big Mama’s Kitchen offered a variety of tasty treats from pop-up stalls, while local performers Tony Cook and Olivia Ruth provided the ideal Australia Day soundtrack.
